I didn't react to Wednesday's overload by cutting back Thursday - Monday.
I just wanted to clarify that statement from my last post.
I didn't mean cutting back as in: "I'm going to have a slice of birthday cake tonight, so I'll cut back a bit this afternoon", or "We were impulsive and stopped for an ice cream cone on our walk, so I'll skip my snack later."
I meant the sort of drastic cutting back that making up for a binge involves. The kind that takes a couple of days, or more, and leaves you feeling deprived and resentful. That used to be my MO in days gone by.
I'm just happy that I didn't go overboard in either direction: indulgence or deprivation. Not saying I won't ever do either, but I didn't this time 'round, so to me it's a NSV.

Thanks for visiting my blog!
Congrats on 38 lbs lost, that's very inspirational. Keep it up!
Good for you. I just wrote about getting rid of the 'all or nothing' attitude on my blog. Guess great minds think alike :)
And a huge NSV, at that! Way to go!
Yeah for you getting back on track sensibly! must do that myself very soon... :) Great NSV! congrats!
Thanks Jordanna, Lori, Cammy, & Janet!
I think that falls into the all or nothing category and I am right there with you. Moderation...great NSV.
Thanks KG.
